“Soul-O is a new series dedicated to the one person play, centering Black and Brown stories and storytelling. One person plays are a heavy lift for an actor, but when done right, offer an intimate, raw examination of the human experience, with deep introspection. At a time when so many members of our community are facing increased scrutiny these stories affirm our humanity and preserve our experiences and push back against harmful, dishonest narratives.
